Privacy policy

Truemargin (truemargin.money) is operated by TODO: legal entity name, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number TODO: KvK number, at TODO: business address.

For any privacy question or request, email support@truemargin.money.

• Account details: your email address, your password (stored by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and the store name you enter at signup.
• Product data you enter: product names, SKU codes, categories, country of origin, HS codes, sale prices, costs, duty rates, currency impact, platform fees, fulfillment costs and units sold.
• Data we calculate from it: daily margin snapshots and the alerts raised when a margin moves.

Truemargin does not connect to Shopify or any other store yet. Before store sync launches, this policy will be updated to describe what store data is read: TODO: Shopify data scope and handling.

We use your data to run your account and to calculate and show your margins and alerts. TODO: confirm any other uses, e.g. product analytics, and a statement on selling or sharing data

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in. If you enter your email in the sign-up box on the homepage, it is kept in your browser's session storage only until the sign-up page opens, then removed.

• Supabase — database and sign-in. Data region: TODO: data region.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• AI provider: TODO: AI provider, if any, and what data it receives.
• Email provider: TODO: email provider used for account emails.
• Payment provider: TODO: payment provider.

• Account and product data: TODO: retention period while the account is active, and after it is deleted.
• Margin snapshots and alerts: TODO: retention period.
• Billing records: TODO: retention period.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how it is used. To make a request, email support@truemargin.money. You can also complain to your data protection authority: TODO: supervisory authority.
